If you want the Scout Rig, but already own the microRemote, the Scout HS bundle is designed for you. You get all the benefits of the Scout HX rig without duplicating what you already have. You use your existing remote system to plug right in to the Scout for power and fingerwheel control, and you are ready to rock.

The Scout is first of its kind ultra-portable camera multi-tool. It�s a universal cage and rig in one featuring a built-in microRemote Fingerwheel System that�s wireless ready. The Scout has a rail system when you need a cinema rig, or detach it for a super compact handheld setup. Quick-Change between rigs quickly (with the quick release system), even your gimbal. Integrated power keeps everything tight and self-contained.

Creative focus control at your fingertips; wireless-ready for someone else�s

The UltraCage Scout rig features the award-winning microRemote Fingerwheel, completely integrated into the cage to minimize size and optimize balance.
The fingerwheel offers exceptionally smooth electronically-controlled focus for the operator without your hand ever leaving the grip. The Scout is also wireless ready when you need someone else to pull focus - just add the microRemote Handheld Controller (sold separately) and they can focus remotely up to 1 mile away.

Quick-Change artist to switch between rigs, even gimbals

Most shoots require more than one style of rig. With the Scout, you can speed up rig changes. Use the optional rail block to quickly switch between handheld, tripod, and shouldermount. The unique bottom plate is DJI Ronin-M compatible so you can slide your Scout right into the gimbal and not lose a beat.

Onboard Power

Scout keeps it tight and powered with the integrated battery inside the hand grip. The lightweight LP-E6 battery (not included) keeps things running without extra cables or external batteries.

With newer generation mirrorless cameras that feature multi-axis stabilization such as the Sony A7SII, the camera handles stabilization (no need for a gimbal or other support) and the Scout fills in the rest.

The Scout�s opposite-side handgrip gives you the perfect camera balance for handholding shots, and the integrated fingerwheel electronically drives smooth focus without your hand ever leaving the grip. The combination delivers on the promise of cinema-style handheld footage without bulky gear.

The Only Rig with Compact and Expanded Modes to Adapt to Your Shooting Style

Scout is the only rig that gives you two setup options. Use the Expanded mode with extended grip for comfortable and balanced handholding. Collapse the rig into Compact mode for a smaller setup that�s ideal for cine-style rigs (think studio, shouldermount etc.) or use on gimbals. You can also fine-tune between the two modes using four sliders for maximum size and balance adjustments.

Universal fit for most Mirrorless and DSLR Cameras

The Scout is highly configurable to fit cameras ranging from smaller mirrorless to larger DSLRs.
All camera functions fully accessible, and the precision-machined aluminum frame gives your camera added protection from bumps and scrapes.

The integrated cold shoe mount enables you to mount up to two accessories, and the Rhino Mount (not included) ingeniously secures the Torque motor for slip-free operation.
